I have been in Cedar Rapids, IA for almost three years. I have a five year old daughter who is my world. I'm looking for new friends, and a long term relationship with a like minded woman. I have a deep respect for all living things. I enjoy talking about experiences in great detail. I look to find how I can think of mine and others' experiences from a different perspective. I am known to put myself in other peoples shoes to a fault. I have found myself neglecting me quite a bit in my past, I'm working on that. My father was a philosophy professor and my mother a librarian. So you can imagine how conversations might unfold when speaking with me. Questions, questions, questions. I like being in nature. I do enjoy at least a few songs in every genre. I am pretty laid back. I enjoy exploring. I am a reiki 2 practitioner and working on becoming attuned to reiki master/teacher. I find myself finding myself most days. I am going through my spiritual awakening at the present moment. It has been going slowly since 2004. It has sped up recently to a speed I can't describe in the past year and a half. It feels like I am just along for the ride at this point. I am grateful for every second of this consciousness, but it can be more than a handful for me at times. I am on a journey for sure and I am looking for someone to share my experiences with. I mean, really share. Vulnerable, open, hiding nothing, and being accepted. That to me sounds like heaven.
